Bloodlines
This series explores the visceral connection between blood and pain, delving into the anguish of love and the struggle to confront its wounds. In the first set, blood becomes the manifestation of blind devotion—a girl, eyes drenched in blood, reaches for a love that remains indifferent, separated by an unyielding glass barrier. It is a stark portrayal of longing and unreciprocated affection.
The second set shifts to the aftermath—confronting the raw, messy nature of pain. A washing machine symbolizes the relentless cycle of attempting to cleanse trauma, only to find that true healing lies not in erasure but in embracing the chaos within.
Together, these works embody the duality of pain: its capacity to consume and its necessity for growth, reminding us that strength is born in the blood, sweat, and tears of our deepest struggles.
